About

MyAmbits is a personal-safety mobile app built by Ambits Technologies LLC. It helps people stay safe and coordinate with their trusted contacts through location-based safety features.

What MyAmbits does

• SOS / Emergency Alerts — trigger an emergency alert that notifies your designated emergency contacts with your location.
• Walk Me Home — share a live tracking session with trusted contacts until you reach your destination safely.
• Emergency Contacts (SafeCircle) — add trusted people who can be notified during a safety event.
• Safety Map — location and safety-relevant context around you.

SMS / Text Messaging

When you add someone as an emergency contact, MyAmbits sends them a one-time invitation text asking them to reply CONFIRM to opt in. Only contacts who reply CONFIRM receive safety alerts — a contact who opts out or does not confirm receives nothing. After confirming, MyAmbits sends them SMS only when a user triggers a safety event (SOS or Walk Me Home), to the user's own designated emergency contacts. Messages are never used for marketing. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. We never share mobile information with third parties.
